Cognitive Rehab
We will assess and identify cognitive impairments caused by your brain injury.
We can help develop an intervention plan to address cognitive impairment and provide education to your family/friends/carers about your condition and strategies that are most effective.
Below are some areas which can be affected by brain injury that we can support you with:
- Difficulty with attention
- Difficulty concentrating
- Information processing
- Visual memory
- Difficulty with multi-tasking
- Short-term or long-term memory problems
- Planning, organising and sequencing tasks effectively
- Difficulties with problem-solving
- Lacking Insight and awareness into impairments
We may use a multitude of approaches, some of which include:
- Use of standardised and non-standardised assessments
- Education
- Process training
- Strategy Training
- Functional activities training

Fatigue Management
Fatigue is a common issue that often follows a brain injury. This is due to the brain working harder to compensate for the impairments caused by the brain injury, resulting in the use of more energy quickly, which leads to cognitive fatigue.
We will assess your fatigue levels and develop a bespoke rehab program. This could include:
- Use of standardised and non-standardised assessments
- Identifying factors that contribute to fatigue
- Education for you, family, friends, carers, or your workplace
- Support you using the 4 P's approach
- Develop a personalised fatigue management programme to allow you to participate in your daily activities.
- Help you learn how to anticipate and manage fatigue to help with reducing booming and busting patterns.
- We will teach you fatigue management strategies that you can apply to your daily tasks.
